Pricing

Institutional pricing is quoted per organisation, but the per-seat rate scales predictably with seat count. The bands below are reference ranges — actual quotes depend on seat count, term length, and whether you need API access or only the web app. Quotes typically come back within 1–2 business days.

Editorial credibility

We are candid that the formulary is currently in cited-pre-review status. Every dose rule cites a published veterinary reference (Carpenter's, Mader's, BSAVA, Plumb's, FDA labels, peer-reviewed PK studies) and carries an evidence grade. In August 2026 we checked those citations against the source texts themselves — 19 reference works, ~20,600 pages. 3,963 rules now cite a named book with a page number and 1,170 carry a resolvable link to the original study or label. The audit also found rules whose citation did not support them, and we would rather state the number than round it: 465 rules were withdrawn — some because the dose was wrong, many because the citation named a book that did not contain the drug at all. We then re-tested every one of them against all 19 texts a second time, because a withdrawal is only as good as the search behind it: 113 turned out to be recoverable and were restored. Nothing was deleted.

In the same programme we added 2,244 exotic-species rules mined from those texts; each was verified by re-reading the cited page and then adversarially challenged before publication. just over 900 of the rules we serve are not per-kilogram doses at all — medicated drinking water for an aviary, immersion baths for fish, medicated feed, per-animal doses for birds too small to weigh, topical and ophthalmic therapy. These are printed in their own units and the calculator deliberately refuses to multiply them by body weight. We had been withholding 163 such doses on the mistaken grounds that a formulary built around mg/kg could not carry one; re-adjudicating and adversarially re-testing that set returned 89 to the formulary, confirmed 44 should stay out, and left the rest waiting on records we have not written yet.

That correction also gave us our first immersion doses. Ornamental fish are usually medicated by putting the drug in the water rather than into the fish, and until now we served no dose of that shape at all — so a koi or goldfish with ich or gill flukes was a case this formulary could not answer. It can now, in the drug's own mg/L, with the contact time and the printed toxicity warnings attached.
