Super-potent (Class I) topical glucocorticoid. Maximum anti-inflammatory and antipruritic activity among topical steroids.
Most potent topical steroid. Significant skin atrophy, striae, telangiectasia risk. Limit use to 2 weeks maximum. Systemic absorption significant. Reserved for severe, refractory dermatoses.
