Selective Janus kinase 1 (JAK1) inhibitor that blocks cytokine signaling pathways involved in pruritus and inflammation, reducing itch and allergic skin inflammation in dogs.
New veterinary JAK inhibitor with limited post-market data. Monitor CBC and liver values. May increase susceptibility to infections. Similar class warnings to oclacitinib.
