Estrus synchronization

Mechanism of Action

Controlled internal drug release device containing progesterone. Provides sustained progesterone release to suppress estrus and ovulation, used in estrus synchronization protocols.

Side effects & warnings

Intravaginal insert for cattle (also used extra-label in sheep and goats). Inserted for 5-7 days as part of synchronization protocol. May cause vaginitis. Handle with gloves. No withdrawal period.
