Irreversible acetylcholinesterase inhibitor causing accumulation of acetylcholine at parasitic neuromuscular junctions.
Organophosphate toxicity risk. Do not combine with other cholinesterase inhibitors. Antidote: atropine + pralidoxime. Largely replaced by safer alternatives.
