Produces polysulfides and thiosulfuric acid with broad antimicrobial and antiparasitic activity. Keratolytic and antipruritic.
Strong sulfur odor. Stains jewelry, clothing, and light-colored fur yellow. Dilute before use (typically 1:32). Safe in kittens and puppies. Eye irritant.
