Post-operative pain (extended relief)

Mechanism of Action

Preferential COX-2 inhibitor in sustained-release matrix. Single injection provides analgesia for 3-7 days depending on formulation.

Side effects & warnings

Investigational/compounded. Long duration means adverse effects also persist. Same GI and renal risks as standard meloxicam but prolonged. Not commercially available.
