Mechanism of Action
Potent inhaled corticosteroid with high topical activity and high first-pass hepatic metabolism. Reduces airway inflammation.
Side effects & warnings
Nebulized formulation useful for animals that cannot use MDI. Less systemic effect than oral budesonide. Slow onset — not for acute bronchospasm.
