Selective beta-2 adrenergic agonist causing bronchial smooth muscle relaxation. Rapid onset (5-15 min), short duration (4-6 hours).
Use with spacer/chamber for MDI in cats (AeroKat). Tachycardia, tremors at high doses. Hypokalemia. Rescue bronchodilator for feline asthma.
