Mechanism of Action

Highly selective COX-2 inhibitor converted to active metabolite. Loading dose followed by weekly maintenance dosing due to long half-life of active metabolite.

Side effects & warnings

Dogs only (EU-approved). Weekly dosing after loading dose on day 1. Monitor hepatic and renal function. Do not use in dogs <10 weeks or <2.5kg.
