Osteoarthritis pain

Mechanism of Action

Selective cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) inhibitor. Provides anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects with reduced GI toxicity compared to non-selective NSAIDs.

Side effects & warnings

For horses only. Do not use in horses intended for food. GI ulceration can still occur, especially with concurrent corticosteroids. Not for use with other NSAIDs.
