Inhibits bacterial isoleucyl-tRNA synthetase, blocking protein synthesis. Bactericidal at concentrations achieved topically.
Excellent anti-staphylococcal activity including some MRSP. Polyethylene glycol base — avoid on large open wounds (PEG absorption and nephrotoxicity). Do not use with other topicals.
