INOmax
Endogenous vasodilator that activates guanylate cyclase in pulmonary vascular smooth muscle, producing cGMP and selective pulmonary vasodilation.
Requires specialized delivery system and monitoring (methemoglobin, NO2). Rebound pulmonary hypertension with abrupt discontinuation. ICU setting only.
