Antifibrotic agent that reduces TGF-beta, PDGF, and TNF-alpha production, inhibiting fibroblast proliferation, collagen deposition, and pulmonary fibrosis progression.
Photosensitivity — limit sun exposure. GI upset, rash, elevated LFTs. Investigational for canine idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis.
