Entresto
Combines neprilysin inhibitor (sacubitril) with ARB (valsartan). Neprilysin inhibition increases natriuretic peptides promoting vasodilation and diuresis, while ARB blocks RAAS.
Do not combine with ACE inhibitors (angioedema risk). Monitor blood pressure and renal function. Emerging canine heart failure research.
