TPOXX
Inhibits the VP37 protein required for release of enveloped virions from infected cells. Active against orthopoxviruses (smallpox, monkeypox, cowpox).
Strategic national stockpile drug. Headache, nausea common. Potential veterinary use for cowpox/parapox in exotic species. Limited data.
