Dermatophytosis

Mechanism of Action

Inhibits squalene epoxidase, blocking ergosterol synthesis. Fungicidal against dermatophytes. Structurally related to terbinafine.

Side effects & warnings

Topical use only. Local irritation (burning, stinging) possible. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes.
