Mechanism of Action
Potent ophthalmic corticosteroid reducing ocular inflammation by inhibiting phospholipase A2 and multiple inflammatory mediators.
Side effects & warnings
DO NOT USE with corneal ulcers (inhibits healing, potentiates infection). Prolonged use causes cataracts and secondary glaucoma. Fluorescein stain negative before starting.
