Levaquin
L-isomer of ofloxacin. Inhibits DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV. Enhanced gram-positive activity compared to ciprofloxacin.
Avoid in young growing animals. CNS effects possible. May prolong QT interval. Limited veterinary pharmacokinetic data.
