Amitiza
Activates type 2 chloride channels (ClC-2) in intestinal epithelium, increasing intestinal fluid secretion and promoting motility.
Used for chronic constipation. Nausea common. Limited veterinary data. Take with food. Contraindicated with mechanical GI obstruction.
