Mechanism of Action

Growth hormone secretagogue receptor agonist mimicking ghrelin. Stimulates appetite and increases growth hormone and IGF-1.

Side effects & warnings

FDA-approved appetite stimulant. Entyce for dogs, Elura for cats with CKD. Diarrhea, vomiting. Not for use in pregnant/lactating animals. Daily dosing.
