Malassezia otitisMalassezia otitis externa

Mechanism of Action

Imidazole antifungal that inhibits ergosterol biosynthesis in fungal cell membranes. Effective against Malassezia pachydermatis and Candida species commonly causing otitis.

Side effects & warnings

Single-agent antifungal for yeast otitis. Apply twice daily for 14-21 days. Well tolerated. Can be used when combination products are not needed.
