Silver ions disrupt bacterial DNA replication while sulfadiazine inhibits folate synthesis. Synergistic broad-spectrum antimicrobial including Pseudomonas.
May cause transient leukopenia. Argyria rare. Apply 1/16 inch (~1.5 mm) thick. Cover with non-adherent dressing. Reapply 1-2 times daily. Safe for most species including reptiles.
