Hytrin
Selective alpha-1 blocker relaxing smooth muscle in bladder neck, prostate capsule, and urethra. Longer acting than prazosin.
Once-daily dosing. First-dose hypotension possible. Used for urethral relaxation in functional obstruction. Similar to prazosin but longer duration.
