Mechanism of Action
Benazepril (ACE inhibitor) reduces glomerular pressure while amlodipine (calcium channel blocker) reduces systemic hypertension, providing dual renoprotection.
Side effects & warnings
Monitor blood pressure and renal values. May cause hypotension. Adjust dose in dehydrated patients. Common in feline CKD management.
