Zenalpha(with medetomidine)
Peripheral alpha-2 adrenergic antagonist that does not cross BBB. Blocks cardiovascular side effects of medetomidine (bradycardia, vasoconstriction) while preserving central sedation.
Dogs only. FDA-approved in combination with medetomidine. Preserves sedation while reducing cardiovascular compromise. Do not use additional atipamezole peripherally.
