Lufenuron is dosed at 30 mg/kg PO Once in chinchillas, per ExoticRx 2026 (chinchilla dosing guide). Verify against current literature before clinical use.
Inhibits chitin synthesis in flea eggs and larvae, preventing development. Does not kill adult fleas.
Does NOT kill adult fleas — prevents flea egg development only. Must be used as part of comprehensive flea control. Give with food for absorption.
