Prostigmin
Reversible acetylcholinesterase inhibitor that does not cross blood-brain barrier. Increases acetylcholine at neuromuscular junction for reversal of non-depolarizing NMB agents.
Always co-administer with atropine or glycopyrrolate to prevent muscarinic side effects (bradycardia, salivation). Overdose can cause cholinergic crisis.
