Nevanac
NSAID prodrug converted to amfenac by intraocular hydrolases. Inhibits COX-1 and COX-2 in ocular tissues, reducing prostaglandin-mediated inflammation and pain.
Shake well before use. May delay corneal healing. Avoid with corneal ulcers. Used perioperatively and for uveitis. Less corneal toxicity than some older NSAIDs.
