Penicillinase-resistant penicillin. Resists staphylococcal beta-lactamase. Narrow spectrum targeting methicillin-susceptible staphylococci.
Parenteral administration only. Interstitial nephritis possible. Not effective against MRSA. Hepatotoxicity rare.
