Inhibits squalene epoxidase in fungal ergosterol synthesis pathway. Fungicidal activity against dermatophytes and some yeasts.
Side effects & warnings
Compounded formulation. Used for resistant Malassezia otitis. Not commercially available as otic product — requires compounding pharmacy.
