Panolog(component)
Thiopeptide antibiotic that binds to the 23S rRNA of the 50S ribosomal subunit, inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis. Active primarily against gram-positive bacteria.
Available only in combination products (with nystatin, neomycin, triamcinolone). Topical use only. Hypersensitivity reactions possible. Do not use near eyes.
