Moduretic
Hydrochlorothiazide inhibits sodium reabsorption in the distal tubule while amiloride blocks epithelial sodium channels, providing potassium-sparing diuresis.
Monitor electrolytes, especially potassium. Contraindicated with hyperkalemia. May reduce calcium excretion (useful for calcium oxalate stone prevention).
