Robenacoxib is dosed at 1–2 mg/kg PO q24h in dogs, per BSAVA Small Animal Formulary, 10th Ed, Part A, p.361. Verify against current literature before clinical use.
Highly selective COX-2 inhibitor with short plasma half-life but prolonged tissue residence at sites of inflammation.
One of few NSAIDs approved for cats (short-term use, max 3 days oral in cats). Monitor renal/hepatic function. Not with other NSAIDs.
