Non-selective COX inhibitor. Also has anti-tumor properties via COX-independent mechanisms (apoptosis, anti-angiogenic).
Used primarily as adjunctive cancer therapy (transitional cell carcinoma). GI ulceration common. Renal toxicity. Give with food. Concurrent use of misoprostol recommended.
